I've known store owners and managers in Winnipeg who have taken a stand and refused to sell lysol, hairspray and mouthwash to people who were obvious abusers.

An old joke used to be, why does aqua velva come in 3 colours? So .......... can enjoy having shooters too.

While working in RCMP holding cells up north, I remember this one kid(about 18 or 19) they brought in. He was pissed and had been trying to do some B&Es(including our place..until he met my pups). One of the constables ran after him and tackled him while I pulled my dogs out of the way. When we all got back to the detachment, they had the kid strip down and shower(he smelled something fierce). They then noticed that this kid was covered in blotches of blue and green mold all over his body. Lets just say that gloves and such went into the disposal bins and they both went home and showered with LOTS of anti bacterial soap, and everything else was doused liberally with lysol.

That sounds like a too common occurrence.

This town is tiny and there's only one road out. A couple years ago someone stole the town's only taxi and they got away past a 36 man detachment at one end and a 40 man detachment at the other and made it all the way to Prince George on the main highway.
When they found the taxi, they condemned it as a bio-hazard. Full of shit and blood.
Now to set the record straight, everyone knows you pull shit like that between 2 and 5 am because the asshole beancounters can't "budget" a single cop on duty here. And everyone also knew who stole it and who was riding in it, how drunk they were and that one was HIV positive.
Don't even wanna think about what went on during that joyride!
