I liked the method I heard of recently. A 'sky burial'. No anti-gravity required, just leave me for the vultures. Beats leaving me in the forest for the wolves.

How very Tibetan of you!

One problem though, sky burials are not allowed in Canada...
Also, I don't think our Turkey vultures would really be up to the task.

Actually, that's where I saw the concept recently. A show about Tibet. No wood and no place to bury bodies in the high mountains, so Buddhists think "Hey, my death might as well provide life to another being!".

Makes sense to me!

Unless you're a member of a special group and then it's okay because, well, Canada.

If I go before the wife I told her I want a Viking funeral. She keeps saying I can't have one because I'm not descended from the Norsemen.

I'd prefer to be ground up in a wood chipper and plowed into a farmer's field.
Or maybe ground up and put in a silo under heavy rocks to make oil for the great grandchild's car.

Donate your body to a medical school and for parts.

Sky burials aren't going to work in Canada - imagine people throwing their dead loved ones off the condo balcony. And the only vultures around are the financial ones, and all they'll do is empty your pockets. Tibetans also have sky outhouses, doubt that will work well in Canada either.

Surely your body will compost just fine if you don't fill it full of toxins in a vain attempt to preserve it. Just put in biodegradable bag, bury, and Bob's your uncle.

I'm not so sure. Grew up with atmospheric bomb testing and eating Twinkies.

You may have something there. I think I read something where people now take longer to decompose than they used to, because all the preservatives in them.

Maybe out west, I have two nesting pairs of turkey vultures within 100m of my property.

Out west, we mainly have Northern Ravens. Smarter than vultures, but not as industrious.

That's my intention, donate it to science fiction - I've got my organ donor card filled out. But afterwards, they bury you in an unmarked grave, not compost or otherwise. I don't think you get to choose.
