You know a lot of Canadian companies opened or bought mills in the USA to get around the rules since the last duty. Playing both sides now.
I think a huge duty on log exports to the USA should be step one.
I think I'd do the same, if I were in the lumber business. The US does this dance all too often, makes sense to hedge.
Tariff raw log exports, and Dairy imports.
