One of the most basic rules of politics is to learn to pick your fucking battles.

What did Peterson think he'd gain by talking about Page's former breasts, or insulting that Sports Illustrated swimsuit model? He just looks like a bully picking on someone with a smaller public profile, particularly over something that should by all rights just be Page's personal decision.

What are the bigger political stakes here? It's one thing for Peterson to argue against what he considers compelled speech, but it's hard to tell why he'd make such a big deal about Page specifically.
