Nope. In fact therapy must makes them able to deceive better as they learn the lingo.
Tho in 25 years he'll be 56, so his urges will likely have burned out. I would consider paroling him if we had a decent parole system that kept a close watch on him. He does seem intelligent enough to understand consequences. In his writing he talks about it not being worth it to go to jail for the rush of murder, that he can let out his energy in film making instead. Too bad he didn't stick to that plan, but he probably would at 56. But my heart wouldn't bleed if they kept him in for longer.
