Trump's CIA planned to either kidnap or assassinate Julian Assange:

https://www.rawstory.com/julian-assange-2655175902/

$1:
Under the leadership of then-Director Mike Pompeo, the CIA in 2017 reportedly plotted to kidnap—and discussed plans to assassinate—WikiLeaks founder and publisher Julian Assange, who is currently imprisoned in London as he fights the Biden administration's efforts to extradite him to the United States.

Citing conversations with more than 30 former U.S. officials, Yahoo News reported Sunday that "discussions over kidnapping or killing Assange occurred 'at the highest levels' of the Trump administration."

According to Yahoo:

$1:
The conversations were part of an unprecedented CIA campaign directed against WikiLeaks and its founder. The agency's multipronged plans also included extensive spying on WikiLeaks associates, sowing discord among the group's members, and stealing their electronic devices.

While Assange had been on the radar of U.S. intelligence agencies for years, these plans for an all-out war against him were sparked by WikiLeaks' ongoing publication of extraordinarily sensitive CIA hacking tools, known collectively as "Vault 7," which the agency ultimately concluded represented "the largest data loss in CIA history."

President Trump's newly installed CIA director, Mike Pompeo, was seeking revenge on WikiLeaks and Assange, who had sought refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy since 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden on rape allegations he denied. Pompeo and other top agency leaders "were completely detached from reality because they were so embarrassed about Vault 7," said a former Trump national security official. "They were seeing blood."

Shows how deep Trump's jealous streak runs. He's so desperate to keep his rating as Putin's number one operative that he plans to rub out Assange, aka Putin's other number one operative.

Scape Scape:

I wonder if they realise they contradict themselves in this video. I'd assume not.

First they say there is an FBI presence at the capitol. That's not what the NYT said. An informant is not FBI, nor does it constitute a presence of federal agents.

Second they say that there were more feds than perpetrators in the Michigan Governor plot. This is weird because a) there doesn't appear to be a number of feds released who were part of it, unless they are lying and claiming informants are feds. They aren't. There also wasn't more than them, there were 12 informants, and 13 people under investigation. Additionally, do we care if it's 5 agents or 50 if it stops a terrorist attack and the head of a state government being kidnapped and/or murdered?

But the weirdest part, is they then go on about how there were informants at the rally, but they did nothing to stop it. This is odd because they just shit on the FBI for putting resources forward to stop a Governor from being kidnapped. But then simultaneously shit on them for not putting resources forward to stop the Jan 6 riot. Which do you want? It's also weird be crapping on the FBI for not moving forward at all during the Jan 6 riots for a few reasons. 1) the Director is a trump appointee. 2) they report directly to the attorney general, who would be Barr. Also a Trump sycophant. And 3) by their own admission, the informant only told them that they were just caught up in the mob. So if there wasn't any sort of pre-plan.. how is the FBI supposed to stop it? Should they have deployed resources to the capitol building, something that isn't really under their jurisdiction?

Krystal and Sagaar genuinely aren't very intelligent.

This still means they had an informant on the ground, yet failed to act. Correct? That informant also reported violence and destruction in the Capitol to his FBI handler as it was happening, and the FBI did nothing timely to stop it. Jurisdiction be dammed, they had an OBLIGATION to act. This was an insurrection at the capitol. You can't have a more grave threat to the seat of democracy then that. Zip ties at the ready, death threats and shots fired. What else was needed, an invitation?

Pretty sure that there's rules all across the US, both on the state and federal levels, that prevent anyone with a felony conviction from holding any sort of public office, or even from running in an election.

I detest Trump more than anyone else here. I've made no secret of it, because someone that genuinely disgusting and venal becoming POTUS is the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my entire life, and him succeeding in that shattered beyond repair the strong faith I used to have in the United States and in the American people. That being said we don't have to be scared of Trump like he's some kind of vampire or great white shark. He's not getting back into office, either by fair means or foul ones. The cretinous SOB can't even get back on Twitter, for fucks sake, yet he's going to win it all again from the confines of a prison cell?

Whatever. Some of these pundits and columnists and other talking heads need to put the brakes on what they're saying. Concentrate on Trump's real and active evil, the ones he already committed and the ones he's committing right now. Don't waste time and effort making up things that are impossibilities. The guy isn't Sauron, fer Chrissakes, he's just a crooked & mentally ill realtor/game-show host.

1992 - transgressive satire
2021 - too tame for actual reality

PS: I kind of liked the last lyric in The Monkey Song though.
