I think the point good old ridenrain is making is that if we were all allowed to carry a concealed firearm our murder rate would be just as low as in the hero city of Dallas, where every potential murderer is kept from doing his thing by the knowledge that his victim and every person walking down the street is "packing heat."

Well, I don't think ridenrain is of the opinion that we should let our gun laws get to the point of what they are in the US but I do think he is making a statement about Millers hand gun ban which does little to address the problem of gun violence in the GTA but I'll let him clarify that himself.

Either bring back the death penalty for murderers, or adopt the U.S. Style gun laws of Texas.

One or the other.. this is out of hand.

Nice try Fifeboy.

I'm not familiar with TO but I'm betting that the murders don't cluster around the private shooting ranges or sportsmens clubs.
I'm betting this has everything to do with the drug industry and nothing to do with the law abiding sportsmen.

.. except for those 2 TO policemen who were running a grow op.

But you are pushing for CC laws--eh!

And thank you, it was a nice try!

I'd like to see one for the the lower mainland. My guess would be that it'd be so completely covered in those little balloons that you couldn't do a street search.

Second that. I'm sure that's why they don't.
Poor senator larry would have to admit that they did nothing for all those years.

Barney Fife: If it makes you feel better keyholing me into the gun nut club, then go ahead. You may have had police show up just in time, and returning all you're stolen bikes and lawnmowers but that's not my experience. The usually show up after the incidence and dump on you some more because you're easy pickings.

hey. the map's handy. You could use it like a weather report.
Hm.. forcast is for bloody. better take the trenchcoat and the shotgun.
