I don't like at all the fact that he didn't get finger printed or photographed, or the fact the fact that his suspension "came as a suprise" to him.

I hope the police get better NVCI training and better access to "non-lethal" tools. I still cant believe Police in Toronto don't all have tasers. There was a video somone posted on another thread where Vancouver Police incapacitated a subject with a needle with a bean-bag gun. I'd like to think Toronto Police could adopt that aproach.

Don't see a justification for manslaughter. The footage from the bus may show something different but I would think it's going to be tough to prove any non-intent.

its a toss up for me. I can see both arguements. Its the intent behind the 9 gun shots, if he can articulate that 9 shots was reasonable force, then he wont be found guilty. I know I probably couldn't articulate shooting someone 9 times, but then thats why I wouldn't shoot someone 9 times.

Manslaughter intent is a non-factor.

This is all I've been saying. either way I think its safe to say his career in policing is over.
