It's not like $100,000 will get you very far these days. I'd keep my job too if I won that amount.

But good for her, sounds like she's putting the money to good use. :)

If I knew what I wanted to be when I grow up, school might be an option. Bur right now the way I see it, I'll be working in sawmills or working out at camps doing first aid, which I love anyway, so it's all good.

I want to buy a house though. I REALLY, REALLY want a house. :P

What would you take in school?

I think there's some good schools around here for that.

I'd probably go back to red deer to do it. they have one of the best programs in the country for it... but i dont have the money for it...

and i dont gamble so i dont think I'm gonna win the lottery anytime soon

With a 100 grand, I'd have a downpayment for a condo or two and I could become a slumlord!

Seriously though, I would use it to pay off my student loan and buy a condo/townhouse to rent.

If I won $105,000 Id buy a Timmies franchise and spend my days giving away Timbits to babies and letting homeless people sit and enjoy a meal that someone else has bought for them

come to think of it i dont think 105,000 is enough to buy a franchise

It's not. It doesn't even meet the required unencumbered portion of the franchise cost. Franchising info.

It might buy you a 1/10th share in a franchise....
