It probably won't get that far. Odds are that capitalism married to vacuous materialism is going to kill off the planet and our vermin-like species within the next hundred years anyway. Here's hoping that the current tech advances aren't sufficiently big enough to allow escapees to go into space and spread the disease to the rest of the galaxy.
One of the weirdest things asked of communists is "How will communism efficiently distribute finite resources", which would suggest capitalists solved that problem. The swirling garbage patches in the ocean tell me otherwise.

Can't blame the commies for the mass extermination of the animals, although they were as abysmal on an environmental level as any other societies of humans have ever been. Regardless of that though the percentage of non-human life forms on this planet has pretty much been reduced by a full half since the Berlin Wall came down and FREEDOM! won. Rhinos are basically gone, giraffes and elephants are following closely behind them.
The human race is sickening to it's core. The only truth is that there is little of any good to be found in the vast majority of us, no matter what economic or political system we decide to adhere to.
