Yeah they hid the story of who Bergdahl really was pretty good in the early days. They wouldn't let the other soldiers in the unit talk.

They can talk now though, although judging by how fast the one I posted earlier disappeared YouTube might doing that thing they do and trying to see you don't hear them, so click quick.

Little things like initial cover-ups caused a lot of people to feel for this guy and his family. When the truth came out a lot of people changed their attitude about him, except xeres and his ilk who probably think he is even MORE a hero now.

I agree that they should be heard as part of a legitimate military investigation with a court martial for Bergdahl being the probable outcome. You're the kind of guy who'd like to see him get gunned down at the edge of a ditch based on nothing more that "someone said something about him". Not surprising coming from you. From most of your posts I've gathered that you're the type of person that would be the first to volunteer to slit the throats of the wounded on a medieval battlefield to get them to shut up, or quietly gun down the prisoners that were taken because it'd be too annoying to march them back to HQ.

Seen it all the last few years from right-wingers. The Benghazi freakout. Death panels. Accusing the Newtown families of being involved in some gigantic "they're comin' to take away our guns!" false-flag conspiracy. The display of sheer ideological hideousness at the Bundy ranch. The fact the Pentagon didn't believe Bergdahl was worth rescuing it's becoming clear his release was a calculated political move by the Obama Administration to start the process of closing Gitmo while appeasing to his base and Democrats for the mid term elections which is now backfiring.
