Kind of misleading. I know drivers. yes they are told to ask for people to pay, even ask again if they refuse, but if they still refuse they are supposed to either call it in or just keep driving. As for disruptions on the buses, they are told to call supervisors or police and NOT get involved. Drivers claim they are abused and get hurt intervening but they own colleagues (off camera) admit most of those assaulted bring it on themselves buy getting involved how they should not be.
You should know getting into the job that you will be sworn at. I have no sympathy for those who whine and cry about it. Unprovoked physical abuse is another issue. Getting into a screaming match with a drunk or street thug over being short 25 cents is just plain stupid.
