I would like a tattoo on my torso: half red maple leaf, half blue fleur de lys. It means something for me: one of my best friend had one like it and died some years ago.

But, i'm too coward... I don't like the permanent thing about a tattoo. I only have some piercings which could be easily removed.

Lots of airbrush artists offer temporary tats that last for 1-3 weeks, I'd say try that first, if you like it get it done permanent.

True, plus do your research and go to a reputable shop that uses good quality ink.

Here here, word of mouth or referrals is really how tattoo shops should get business. Hehe there is a place in Florida called Destin, its a big tourist trap, and they have almost as many tattoo removal shops as tattoo parlors.
