Maybe the Liberals should start thinking about something important instead of mudslinging.

There's no good news there for the Conservatives, either. They haven't managed to translate anything they've done into a substantial improvement in public opinion.

True, but you can bet there are some pretty long faces in the Liberal ranks with all the poll results of the last week. They figured they would be out front in majority territory

All that effort spent trying to raise alleged scandals.

no this poll is great news for the conservatives , mean after all the bad press and elections canada raid you think the opposition parties would of made major gains in opinion polls yet they haven't managed to do much of anything .

it shows some voters like the conservative government much more than the liberals or media would ever admit . these voters have realised harper is doing a good job and do not see dion/liberals as a credible alternative anymore . the days of automatic liberal victories are over and liberals in serious trouble it appears . also there isn't going to be an election for a while i suspect cause the liberals have nothing at all going for them and nothing to gain by forcing one it appears .

Ipsos Reid credibility is doubtful. For too many years the LIBRANO regime sent them so many taxpayer funded polls........

Really?

Considering that Strategic Counsel seem pro con and harris-Decima seem pro lib and Ipsos Reid report middle ground results I would think theh opposite, or do you just consider any poll not showing CPC dominance to be biased?

They're doing well at some things but not at others. I support Harper but I would love to slap his communications director up side the head. Provoking the media in the way the Conservatives have over the past few years is going to hurt them in the long run. You can't go around saying "yes Global News your invited but the Canadian press, well sorry, you'll have to sit this press conference out". This is the most insane and self destructive policy I have ever seen in my life.

If the Conservatives aren't gaining in the poles they have no one to blame but them selves. As the saying goes "be careful of the toes you step on today as they may be connected to the ass that you have to kiss tomorrow".

I may support the Conservatives but I expect better than this.

Somebody is cooking this poll! I don't vote, but among the many people I meet and overhear, they want Adolf Harper gone! And I live in a traditional Conservative area --Tony Clement's area. They like Tony, but they hate Harper.

nobody is " cooking " any polls this is what alot of polls have been saying for some time . most have the conservatives ahead of the liberals by a couple of % or more . enough that there leading but still short of the numbers needed for a majority . very few polls have showed the liberals ahead since dion became liberal leader only afew within the margin of error zone .

the reality is many voters like what the conservative government has done so far over the alternative the liberals have put forward example stephane dion .

well the polling companies shouldn't be pro or agianst anybody if there trying to do accurate polling . cause a bias towards one party would make there polls automatically questionable right ?
