Yes, but can you imagine all the worldwide GLBT groups deciding to take this cause under their wing if this person wants to identify themself as a woman but the IAAF rejects it? It would make the current case with the women ski jumpers seem like small potatoes.
Oh she can identify herself as a woman, no problem at all. Her tests however will show a too high level of testosterone everytime she is tested. Which means she will be disqualified everytime.
Before (or with "normal" women), an over the limit testosterone level was reason to disqualify. Why would this be any different? Natural or chemical, limits are limits, rules are rules... Too bad...
