Check out the key players in all of this.

I am ashamed how low Canada ranked. Shows our defence dependance on the US

That site is BS, do you really believe we are inferior to Mexico?

That is more reflective of American incompetence than Mexcian superiority.

You have to have a giggle at the fact that the United States can take over entire countries on the other side of the world yet lacks the ability (or the will) to secure its own borders, its own backyard.

It is ridiculous.

Am I reading this right? The Russians are doing what Canada should be doing but isn't. Y'all want Canada to do it but Russia mustn't. Typical, ain't it. [huh]

Huh? I don't want Canada to open war over resources. Neither did nobody say that. Neither did anybody want Canada to plant Canadian flags at the bottom of the artic. We want Canada to take a agressive approach which means don't give in and don't take any bullshit. That doesn't mean at any sign of disagreement we want our government to threaten to go to war.

So no, not at all typical.

Russia wants to protect her arctic and we have people living in ours.

$1:
Baker Lake (Qamani’tuaq ("where the river widens"),"big lake joined by a river at both ends"), is a hamlet in the Kivalliq Region, in Nunavut on mainland Canada. Located 320 km (200 mi) inland from Hudson Bay, it is near the nation's geographical centre, and is notable for being the Canadian Arctic's sole inland community.[5] The hamlet is located at the mouth of the Thelon River on the shore of Baker Lake. The community was given its English name in 1761,[5]

In 1946, the population was 32, of which 25 were Inuit.[5] By the 2006 census, the population of 1,728 represented an increase of 14.7% from the 2001 census.[3] The mayor is David Aksawnee.

Just another reason we need to play nicely with the Yankees.

Yes...I agree!!! Make your next car a Chevy and not a Chery.... :D :D :D

IF Russia does attack Canada I wonder who will come to our aid? Will it be Japan or Germany or more likely the US? All the more reason to stop this anti-American crap...!!!!

I really hate how the NDP & Liberals promote Canadian patriotism... They believe in order to be a good Canadian you must be anti-American, it's not unlike the nonsense of the KKK or Taliban...

Bring it on Putin... Canadians will soon find out who their true allies and friends are.... AND many a true Canadian will be ready to repel these Ruskie punks who dear tread upon the soil of a true sovereign and free nation...!!!!!!!!
