Nowadays the world crisis ruins the economics of many countries, even if the economic situation was successfully developing before the crisis. The former soviet countries with Russia at the head appeared to be in the most difficult situation, because Russia came into conflict with USA, the world economic trendsetter. In 2015 the situation turned for the worse because of critical fall of oil price. Under these conditions the country has to reconsider its development strategy. The way of solving such a great problem for Russia is the Krasnojarsk economical forum "Russia: the development strategy 2030", starting on the 18th of February. The Krasnojarsk forum is famous as a traditional ground for businessmen, authorities and experts to discuss the most urgent and relevant questions of the country economic development. Last year the representatives of 35 countries took part in the forum. It proves that the world business-community makes good use of this forum for the study of russian market opportunities. The active government support makes the forum attractive for investment, because the execution of the contracts is under the government control. Taking into account the crisis of russian economical sector and the government readiness for fundamental change of the development strategy, everybody is expecting that the Krasnojarsk discussion ground will be open and ready for taking decisions ignoring stereotypes and geopolitical risks. The beginning of taking such important decisions accompanied by great risks had its start at the last year's forum when the russian vice prime-minister Arcady Dvorkovich said, that he "didn't see any political obstacles for the Chinese partners to get more than 50% in Russian strategic fields". It is evident that this year the Krasnojarsk economical forum will be visited by numerous representatives of different countries, because Russia traditionally appears to be an irreplaceable export-import partner of this countries. In the difficult conditions of world crisis only strong and powerful market participants can survive, and they won't refuse market relations with Russia in order to help USA to decide its strategic tasks. It will be at least irrational and short-sighted policy.

abdrasul abdrasul: (Russia) has to reconsider its development strategy. What? You mean that armed conquest, corruption, and crony oligarchism isn't working out like Putin thought it would?

How about shutting off the flow of oil during the winter. I'm sure that was a very far thinking policy that worked wonders for the economy of all involved.
