That is a good point, they dont have them out here in NB but I know in Edmonton at bad intersections they have a diamond shaped sign that says fatality. It is usually located under the controlling sign (stop, yield, crosswalk, ect).

Sadly I am going to be working during halloween, I dont get to go out for them since I am usually on a course or in the field around this time of the year.

I scan too - but sometimes the memorials have words or pictures on them and it's an automatic reaction to try to read them.

Oh i dont do that....i guess we all drive differently then. Pulling over to read or coming back to look at another time is a better idea. that would drive me crazy like when people slow down to look at accidents.
