xerxes xerxes:
You think QB's like Andy Dalton or Trubisky are better than Kap? The fact is teams aren't interested in him because they don't to potentially court controversy. Kapernick has been blacklisted and that hasn't changed tryout or no.
32 Year old washed up QB who lost his starting job years ago and then created a scene by kneeling for the national anthem. Yup sounds like a real winner and just the guy you'd want on your team.
Check this out.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/16/us/nfl-c ... index.htmlBTW here's Mr. Kapernicks NFL stats and once you take out the "rushing records" there's no real advantage especially when you compare it to the two QB's you mentioned.
Colin Kapernick
TD–Int: 72–30
Passing yards: 12,271
Completion percentage: 59.8
Passer rating: 88.9
Rushing yards: 2,300
Rushing touchdowns: 13
Tubinsky
TD–INT: 36–21
Passing yards: 6,255
Completion percentage: 63.6
Passer rating: 86.8
Rushing yards: 690
Rushing touchdowns: 5
Andy Dalton
Passing attempts: 4,259
Passing completions: 2,647
Percentage: 62.2
TD–INT: 197–112
Passing yards: 30,352
Passer rating: 88.0
Rushing yards: 1,203
Rushing touchdowns: 21
So there's not much difference except that Andy Dalton has been playing behind a team that has no business claiming they're in the NFL while Colin Kapernick played on team that was stacked and went to the Super Bowl. So, IMO Dalton is the better player because he's managed to keep a decent record despite being handicapped by his GM's draft and free agent selections.
Also one point that doesn't show up on the stats sheet is "Leadership". Dalton is a leader who the players will follow, Kapernick is a divisive shit who is only out for himself.
