First of all the premier us not personally responsible for setting Albertas oil prices, so it doesn't necessarily follow that the premier has to lose their job just because Albertas unemployment rate is up.
Second you'll note that your economy hit the shitter under the last premier, not the current one, and you did fire that guy to elect this current government.
Lastly, it's fine to dislike politicians and public figures, but do you really need to call the female ones sexist names like "bitch"? Go find a mirror, take a hard look and ask yourself if you're a good person.
You keep posting all mature & eloquent and you'll be ushered right out of here.

They are or were but even if they distance themselves it doesn't matter the optics are bad for The Alberta NDP and other provincial NDP parties in the country.

No, we're pissed that she is pretending to give a shit about oil workers while actually doing nothing to help them or the industry.
But keep pretending it's the cost of the ad we're upset with.

Exactly and the Leap Manifesto sealed Notley's fate, they're done becoming a one trick pony.

She's going to have to run the AB Dippers the same way Tito did by insulating the Yugoslav commies from Moscow. Pay lip service to the big party but other than that take no direction from them at all. They know they're one-and-done as a provincial government so she'll have to stand up to the federal party just to hold on to future opposition status and not get obliterated from the face of the earth by agreeing with a single thing the Lewis' have come up with in their Death-to-Alberta Manifesto.

The PCAA and WRP were just handed back the keys to Alberta Legislature on a silver platter.
As for the party, it has now cast its lot with the Lewises and their Manifesto. This amounts to a plan for Canada to cast aside the free market in favour of a deeply protectionist, managed economy, in which the happy citizenry drive state-funded electric go-cycles fuelled by state-funded wind turbines and live in straw bale houses that don’t require heat in winter. It is an addled, cockamamie vision like something out of Orwell, or the fevered imagination of British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
For this is the problem the NDP now faces: Its sturdy Jack Layton-esque centrism is now in tatters. The roster of possible replacements contains not a soul who seems likely to out-Trudeau Trudeau, including Avi Lewis.
Therefore, the NDP will lose in 2019. This party was once generous to leaders who lose. Not any more. That much, at least, we know.
Such dependable shit-heads are our wee Dippers. Say goodbye to JT's token leftism too because with the real left now under the firm control of dependable morons again Trudeau loses absolutely nothing by sticking to the center.
It's the 90's all over, bay-bay! Play your favourite songs here!
Jayzus, they're so fucking stupid.

Energy Minister McQuaig-Boyd and a couple other NDP MLAs tweeted earlier today that they do NOT support the Leap Manifesto and never will - but it's almost certainly too little, too late.

I called this back in the federal election when Linda McQuaig said the exact same thing during the campaign and Mulcair kinda/sorta shut her down over it. All McQuaig did was accidentally say out loud what the huge majority of the NDP firmly believes in. And going by his rhetoric as opposition leader in Demon Harper's final years, with all that Dutch Disease blather, Mulcair believes it too. He just wanted it kept quiet for purposes of the elections. If they'd said this out loud a year ago the Notley Dippers wouldn't have been voted in by Albertans. Leave it with this gathering over the weekend to the NDP for ramming a knife it Notley's back by endorsing the Lewis agenda. They're the only party in the country dumb enough to do whatever they can, with their big caring hearts and all, to sabotage the only leader in their party to actually put a checkmark in the win column over the last year.
