Maybe the RCMP have moved from tasers to guns. That is, when they find time from masterbating in their patrol cars

Yah, this comment is viable and related to the article

I remember two other recent stories about something similar. A boy in Japan was shot in the forehead and failed to notice that it had happened, with an arrow. It penetrated something like 4 or 5 centimeters into the skull, and he got home where his father noticed a huge honking bolt sticking out of it. I did a quick search and it looks like the translated pages I had to the FNN news article are gone, but there is one page I found which mentioned it.

This was around the same time, the same month, in fact (February 2010), that a young Russian lady was stabbed in the back of the neck during a robbery, and walked calmly home only to have her parents rush her to the hospital. She did not feel it at all. I could link it, but the article has graphic assosiated imagery, so I'd rather not, just in case anyone accidentally stumbles through the link.

Although I'm sure in both of these cases some form of shock played a role, I would not be surprised if in addition to the dull pain later, the initial shock of being hit in the back of the head turned feeling a penetration into a dull whump, like a simple hit to the head. I'm sure being drunk doesn't help with that either.

He must have been just pissed for days and does it often. No matter how far away the bullet came from, he would have had the mother of all headaches for a long time. He probably couldn't tell the difference between that and his usual hangover I guess....
