why are you such an ass?
Why do people make asses out of themselves fawning/weeping over one particular group of dead guys that simply died doing a job that they chose to do.
Ask yourself that question.
I did ask myself that question and I came up with an answer.
Because some jobs that people chose to do are truly outstanding. Just about anyone can drive a truck for a living, or steer a boat, or work in an office, or work from home pushing papers, etc., but it takes a very special person to do the things that people like Benazir Bhutto, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and many more have tried to do.
Those people have stood up against a seemingly unbeatable and extremely powerful entity of some sort and have cried out for justice, knowing full well the very likely consequences of their actions and that their lives are in danger. So that covers individual people.
And in terms of a group of people, I particularily take offence to this part:

The same could be said about our soldiers fighting in Afghanistan. Sure, you could look at it as a bunch of people who died simply doing a job that they chose to do, or you could look at it as people around my age who decided that they were going to voluntarily put their lives on the line to physically defend their country and to voluntarily put their lives on the line to help those in need.
