Vbeacher Vbeacher:
herbie herbie:
And now Kent Hehr is gone too. He can't even DO any of this shit even if he wanted to, he only SAID inappropriate things.
Get the point yet? Women are sick of it.

Sick of what? Sick of flattery? Sick of unattractive guys daring to think they might have a chance and coming onto them?

Sick of people not getting the point.

It's all over now.

Ironically, Chelsea Nash has this in her University profile:

$1:
Her research interests include the use/rejection of feminism as a political tool, and stem from a ‘wtf’ moment after Donald Trump was elected as President of the United States.

More on this...

Chelsea Nash (Reporter, The Hill Times) is the 13th person to ‘like’ Rachel Aiello’s current public Facebook photo, uploaded to the site on May 15, 2017. As the photo has 82 ‘likes’ this means that Chelsea is almost certainly among Rachel’s “close friends” or “followers” (Facebook’s algorithms automatically limit who sees what, and how fast they see it). Considering that the photo was uploaded on May 15, 2017, this suggests a long-term connection between the two women.

But there is more … Chelsea Nash wrote a series of articles for The Hill Times, all on the theme of sexual harassment in politics, right before the above connection can be established …

“Educate new Senators on how to report sexual harassment: Sen. Hartling,” http://www.hilltimes.com/2017/04/12/sen ... ent/102867 (April 12, 2017)

“Parliament has a power problem: why few staffers report sexual harassment,” http://www.hilltimes.com/2017/04/19/par ... ers/103541 (Apr. 19, 2017)

“Sexual harassment still taboo among press gallery members,” https://www.hilltimes.com/2017/04/26/se ... ers/104602 (Apr. 26, 2017)

So, any information shared between the two women probably would have been exchanged early last year, prompting the question why the matter wasn’t reported to police and why it conveniently surfaced approximately a week after a former liberal staffer, David Livingston, was found guilty of criminal charges for destroying government documents.

One can add for motive that this woman appears to have been recently fired from The Hill Times.

Vbeacher Vbeacher:

He went to a bar. He found a girl there. He brought her home. Not his responsibility she was drinking. She claims she was drunk but we have no way to verify this. The second one claims that other people bought her drinks and got her drunk at a nightclub. BTW, what were they doing at a bar/nightclub if they were underage? Never mind. Point is it's not his resonsibility to ask for their birth certificates.

Now, that being said, I wouldn't want this guy around my daughter. Then again, I wouldn't have let Pierre Trudeau around my daughter either. Remember how he spotted Margaret when she was 18 on vacation in Tahiti, in a bikini (he being 48), and pursued her even after she and her family returned home? Older men have always been in lust with young women, as far back as time goes. Most young women have no time for older men, of course, so most older men quickly realize they'd be wasting their time or looking like fools going after them. But hey, if it works, it works.

Pierre Trudeau is no longer with us and his advances were welcomed. Anyway, times have changed, in particular what we know about our public figures. They are expected to set a good example, not a barely legal one. It looks like male politicians across the board are in for a rough ride. If you’re not a Mitt Romney type anxious days are ahead. Michelle Rempel is sharpening her claws as we speak and Senator McPhedran, who has made a career out of this kind of thing, is establishing some sort of safe space email where all potentially harassed persons on The Hill can give their version of events.

I'm interested into how it al turns out. We were brought up to believe that men are attracted to youth (proxy: beauty) and women are attracted to power (proxy: fame and money). We were led to believe that this was genetic, an evolutionary trait. I always accepted it implicitly. But what if this is not the case? What if the sociological constructs we created set those rules, and the evolutionary theory in support was just scientists, perhaps unknowingly, engaging in confirmation bias.

This will be like an experiment.
