BartSimpson BartSimpson:
You might not like them but where they pay more than half of Canada's tax bill then you need them and you should want them to hang around as opposed to divesting and relocating to the Caymans.

The number of us in the $100,000+ club, would be magnitudes smaller if it wasn't for every employee below us.

Even the finest of Rolex's needs every gear to work.

You all laugh about this because you're adults who have already gone through the education system but this is really terrible. Expect more shootings, unemployment and crime in the future. Schools are literally crumbling to the ground and the education system (especially within Ontario) is in deplorable state.

Your funny. School shooting because Conservatives canned the Green fund? Lololol.

I don't like Rob Doug Ford, but I don't see Ontario's schools becoming something out of Mad Max. But I like your flare for the dramatic.

In this age of multinationals and the net there's no end of bazillionaires who can afford to run a business in one country while residing in another for tax purposes.

I wasn't talking about ''school shootings''. I was saying, cutting down on school funding is creating unemployable future adults. Crime will continue to climb amongst the next generation when they're adults. It may even find you in your gated community...

I live in the hood, son. I see prostitutes and step over needles every day, crackheads congregate on my street. From my balcony I watch the precession of shopping carts filled with the belongings of the destitute. The fund was for solar panels and shit.

I live in Sacramento and I can literally see all of these things at the State Capitol.

Calgary was hit hard by the recession. There used to be a crackhouse next door to me, until they killed a girl and dumped her corpse in a dumpster. The city and province shut the building down. They declared it “unfit for human habitation”. They just bulldozed it.

15 billion in repair back log. How much does a school cost to build? It's almost to the point of knocking them down and rebuilding.

But I see the conservatives have not learned from the Mike Harris/Ernie Eves experiment. If he slashes too much too quick, he’ll be handing the province back to a Liberal government in 2023 (or whenever)

Best now to strike while he can on issues like this and not waste the momentum from the election. All Ford's doing is pissing off a downtown Toronto that hates him anyway so he really has nothing to lose. At this stage in the insane wastage of money that's been going on in Ontario for a decade, simply going ahead and gutting anything that isn't a basic government duty to do, like funding for basic maintenance, would be a winning policy to follow. Keep the solar panel programs as it is a proven technology but nuke anything to do with crap like wind power or intensive recycling that costs more in labour (to sort household garbage for fucks sake  ) than it's ever going to return in revenue.

....Annd now the sex-ed curriculum had been reverted back to the 1990s version so kids will no longer be taught the proper names of body parts, or about modern issues like online predators, the dangers of sexting, sexual consent, otthat something called same-sex marriage exists.

Cue Fiddle to try and peddle the pack conservative nutjob lies that it teaches kids to have anal sex, requires them to cross-dress etc.

That's just as bad as what the nutjobs on the right are saying.

The curriculum teaches kids the names of their body parts. The proper names.

A revised curriculum will be back. In the meantime, as parents, we can step in and teach kids things and not leave it all on the teachers.
