Also, one wonders just how many shoes the NYT will drop after this. There’s five weeks till the election and damn near every day another story like this comes out.

Hence the reason for my initial [popcorn]

No kidding! Every day is yet another episode of this long-running, 24/7 reality show. Tune in tomorrow for more twists, turns and drama!

Of course Trump didn't pay taxes. He bragged about that in 2016 in debate with Hillary. He isn't using anything illegal nor doing anything any other rich(?) business owner would do.

I would MUCH rather see Hillary Clinton's deleted emails, that this idiot's tax returns.

His declared losses in some years were greater than any other taxpayer in America so he was doing something unusual even by the standards of his peers. Either he’s an outstandingly dreadful businessman or a shameless fraudster or both.

No one is obligated to pay more in taxes than is actually owed. However, there is a difference between good tax planning and tax evasion. It looks like we will need to wait for the resolution of Trump’s refund request and accompanying audit to see what the government ultimately concludes about the merits. Either way, Trump reportedly paid $750 in income taxes over the past two years for which we have data—and tried to pay nothing for many years before that.

There’s a different between using all the BS legal workarounds to pay as little in taxes as possible. But it looks like what Trump did is tax fraud. He declared lots of income and yet deep losses. There’s a discrepancy there that reeks of fraud and I’d be willing to bet, money laundering.

In the same way people were upset over Hillary emails as it revealed a pay to play arrangements with princes and governments these taxes show just how leveraged Trump is to not Russia but Turkey.

The same principle has been violated.

It's great that he divested himself of all his business holdings.
