She will have to teach her kid almost everything again now, I wonder if she will get it right the second time.

The second one should be: READ. Warning signs are there for a reason.

Manitoba Hydro should sue that kid for trespassing

A 9 year old kid should be able to read enough to know wat a stupid act this was, I gotta wonder what the outcome of this one will be. How long has this site been in the area? How many other kids over the years had enough common sence to avoid it? I remember many places I lived had these same kind of areas and I never went under a fence at one of them, perhaps I'm just smarter than this kid.

Well I dont know if all you are wussy's or what but in my day,the bigger the fence, the more reason to get by it and see what's on the other side.

They were checking out a nest,I bet they had no idea how dangerous it was.
More older experienced equipment operators die from power line strike's then kids on a transformer every year.

I dont agree with the lawsuit but I done some of that crazy stuff as a kid and so did many others.

It says the children had to dig under the fence to get in. The court should throw this out and fine the woman for wasting their time.

I would have went over the top unless it was easier to go underneath and not risk catching the family jewel's on the barb wire.

Did a sign ever keep you away from exploring when you were a kid?

This sign did. Not to mention I know a guy that went into a substation and burned the crap out of his arm.

Didn't have to. I knew I would catch hell if I went where I wasn't supposed to.

$1:
The children reportedly dug under a gate to gain access to the substation, which is surrounded by a high chain-link fence and warning signs on all four sides.

I guess the electric company should have built the whole thing on a cement slab to prevent trespassing.

First off he's a 9 year old kid.
If it was your's you would be singing a different tune.

$1:
At the time, Manitoba Hydro said it appeared the children were interested in a hawk's nest sitting on top of a transformer pole.
