I don't think I've ever mistaken Wasabi for Avocado. Ever.

I have so many questions.

Sorry, I thought it was Wasabi that caused it, but it was a different story I read.

One when eaten in even small quantities makes the end of your nose tingle, the other is great on Tacos.

And it is a great mistake to breath out through your nose when consuming wasabi in any quantity.

By "a lot" they probably mean a half a teaspoonful. You've seen those ads for "flamethrower" burgers where people are spouting flames because they put one drop of siracha per ton of mayo in the sauce.....
half a spoon of wasabi would definitely send the average candy-ass WASP to hospital.

I could eat more than a dollop, hell, on a dare I HAVE eaten more than a dollop. She ate so much that her blood stopped carrying Oxygen.

I can't. I have no uvula (the hangy down thing in your mouth) so anything hitting the back of my tongue goes up my nose. Good hit of wasabi or horseradish and instant pain and total snot release! Not pleasant for anyone.
So I still eat a shitload, but slowly.
