So, you advocate a first strike?

Yes, I do. I'd use conventional weapons to destroy North Korea's nuclear capabilities.

The regime is really that flimsy?

... an old fashioned cruise missiles strike will do it?

The Norks put the bulk of their resources into their nuke and missile programs at the expense of air defense, artillery, mobility, infrastructure, and infantry.

Their mobile launchers are not hard to isolate due to the fact that they can only operate on high quality roads with stout bridges and that limits how many places they can operate.

Seriously, this is a country that still depends on WW2 era biplanes for patrol craft.

Neutralize their nukes and what's left is a shell of their capability from the 1980's.

In the context of war planning, anybody who presents himself publicly as if he knows what is in North Korea is either a shill or delusional.

You use a big enough bomb and the concept of a 'miss' becomes irrelevant.

No one knows 100% but when it comes to massively heavy vehicles like a mobile missile launcher you can isolate where they can travel based upon road quality and bridge capabilities. In North Korea that's actually a very limited area given that these vehicles are kept in close proximity to Pyongyang and their launch areas on the Sea of Japan.

Think of it this way: Where can a train travel in Canada? It requires a railroad and heavy bridges and that limits where you need to look for them. Something that weighs just as much as a locomotive also has a limited scope of movement based upon the infrastructure required to support such a vehicle as it moves around.

No.
Think of it this way: Canuckletards are not as stupid as our Disney/NASA/Hollyweirdo-graduate neighbors down south.

People who "know" anything true in the psychopath-industrial complex keep the truth silent lest they be silenced.

If you have a great, big bomb but only a vague idea of where your targets are, and you don't get all of the dispersed nukes, you flocked.

BTW, ever heard of a deep cave or five?

A MOAB wouldn't even make the ceiling shake on any of those North Korea bunkers that are buried down two hundred feet deep or more. It would take multiple precision strikes with deep penetrators and that will take a lot of time per target.

Okay, I'm not discussing politics, I'm answering your question about the logistics of moving around a fully loaded WS-51200, eight-axle missile launcher that weighs out at around 110,000kg. It's not a fucking Jeep that can go just anywhere. It can only travel on improved roads and it can only cross bridges capable of supporting that much weight.

North Korea has eight of these vehicles and at least two are out of service because China isn't supplying parts for them anymore.

What I am aware of is that these vehicles frequent a road that travels east-west out of Pyongyang and that their likely storage site is under a fake village located at 39.06`18.42N by 125.54`25.34E - the highway is buried under the village at this location and lots of folks estimate that this is the base for the missile launchers.

Like I said, something this big and heavy can only go so many places.

Don't forget the wildcard though... China.

Anybody who thinks he knows what China will do if the USA attacks NK is an idiot... a dangerous idiot.

If this sudden move towards reunification with the South works out then the converse issue will come into play where China might invade North Korea in order to secure the estimated trillions of dollars worth of rare earth metals reserves in the DPRK.

"The sudden move for unification" will come to abrupt end when not one single member of the North Korean Olympic team will want to go back to North Korea after living in South Korea for a few weeks. The North Koreans will accuse the South of kidnapping their young people and then some degree of shooting will start.
