Trumps impeachment for predestined. Before he was sworn into office (2016) Dems said the would do it. Mid term elections (2018) Dem's ran on the pledge that they would impeach him. Being impeached for a phone call made in July 2019 ( I think that's when it was).

Let that sink in for a minute. Then come back and tell me how great the Dems are. 3 years looking and nothing till Mid July. Any reason that might , maybe, kinda, be wrong and now they scream see we told you so.

Politicians bluster. That's what they do. If you didn't see Pelosi trying her hardest to keep those crying for impeachment quiet, I can't make you see it.

But the phone call was a turning point. You can smell something bad in the closet. You can ignore it for a long time. But if someone opens the closet and a rotting corpse falls out, well then it has to be dealt with.

So Trump's lies, his personal profit from the office, his bullying of other countries in order to carry out his agenda, and a long list of other things could be ignored. But when he used is office to require an ally to dig up political dirt on an opponent - that's the game changer.

And I'm sure that Trumps choice to undo Obama's legacy so hard he decided kill this guy on foreign soil, will be seen as a prelude to an escalating tension that keeps the US as the #1 hated player in the middle east for decades to come. And a plane full of people had to pay the price for it. Kids. Newlyweds. Students. Doctors. All that potential, dying a fiery death just so Trump could look down his nose at Obama.

Trump will be re-elected because the Democrats have already lost the election. Between their lurch to the hard left, the failed impeachment that a growing number of Democrats oppose, and their lackluster candidates they've thrown away any chance of winning in the fall.

Their leadership is now shifting gears to focus on minimizing their losses. And rightly so.
