This is why I continue to advocate for the people who bring frivolous cases like this to have to pay for all legal fees and an additional fine. This is just dumb.

Doesn't insurance cover "acts of God"?

You would think that a church would get that one included in their plan. :D

$1:
A man in Knoxville, Tenn., says he was so consumed by the spirit of God that he fell and hit his head while worshipping.

Must be a Pentecostal. Those guys can really go to it when they get in the swing of things.

Insurance policies typically exclude Acts of God.

Meaning when the fire and brimstone eventually falls on your house you'll be on your own, BN.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
What the HELL is wrong with Americans!?

Seriously.

Soemone find me an article with a Canadian doing something like this, just so I can ATTEMPT to lower my view that there are a large number of people in the USA born fuckign stupid.

As long as you don't generalize to ALL or MOST Americans, I think I'll have to agree with you. A lot of people take their freedom and high standard of living without bothering to take a dose of personal responsibility with it.
