I have no problems with the temporary absence passes - it gives the prisoner a chance to demonstrate that he's responsible.

Oh puh-lease. This goof showed just how responsible he was by sexually assaulting and forcibly confining restaurant staff, all cuz he didn't wanna pay for his meal. Couldn't do the old dine and dash nooooooo, he had to terrorize them. Fuck him and fuck day passes for pieces of shit like him!

As I said, if he just does his time he'll be released with no further conditions, tossed out on the street to go back to his old ways. I agree with the parole board that gradual integration has a better chance of success. And now that he fucked up he gets time added to his sentence. I just want that time to be significant. Then try a temporary absence again, and if he fucks up again, add more time. keep that game up and he might never get out.

if he fucks up, strip the program of it's rights and priviledges, or fire the smug bastards running the program.

Wow, it's a good thing the Conservatives are so tough on crime so that this doesn't happen while they're in office...oh wait!

And before someone brings up the fact that they're a minority government, remember that when Harper prorogued Parliament last time he killed his own crime bill...
