This happened about 100km south of where I live and is pretty big news here. The cop who shot and killed the creep is being lauded for acting as quickly as possible, but it's likely the coroner's office will say the baby was already dead when the police arrived. Pretty sad.

WTF is wrong with people! Seriously! This is fucking disgusting. This makes me sick. The only good thing to come out of this is the cop shooting the guy to death. Just too bad they could not have done it sooner.

Seeing how the truck was facing the wrong way of the street, I'd say that man was mentally unstable and the baby wouldn't stop crying so he did a u-turn stop or was driving on the other side, then made a left and stop. Got the child out, and just beat him because of his crying.
That's my guess anyways, though with all the people watching this brutality. Why was it the cop that stopped him? Nobody even did anything except watch them.

That's not true. The story I read about this said an older couple stopped and try to intervene but he just pushed them away.

he did push people away and kept kicking the baby.. the sad part is that he was shot.. it was too good for the bastard.. he should have been tried hung and slashed and salt poured in his wounds..... but obviously he was mentally ill...
