Wooo.... entitlement issues or what? Young Liberals of Canada strike again!

(I thought I'd beat all the other partisan hacks to somehow link this to a political party!)

Simple solution, leave out a bowl of candy with a note saying "Please take just one"

And I didn't get one freakin kid. So, unfortunately I had to eat all those little chocolate bars by myself.

But on a different note. Does anyone know where I could find reviews of blood glucose meters. 8O

Or not.

Send a letter to the kids that come the first snowfall, the expectation is that they will go about cleaning of stairs and sidewalks of the older people because that's what they are entitled to.

Good idea but unfortunately a kid that actually feels entitled to be handed free candy will expect to get paid for this service.

I'm pretty sure this is some sort of joke, because there were always people who didn't give out candy...aka the people without their porch lights on or decorations out. There's no rule saying everybody must take part, and I'm honestly sadden by this, if this isn't some prank

This 'sense of entitlement' is a learned behaviour. The parents instill it in their children. Saying this is why he's not going to have kids, reflects on his inability to raise a child properly. The parents of today are the problem, not the kids themselves. Both authors of these missives come off looking foolish IMHO(the H never stands for humble  ).

And then they will be expected to hand out the candy come Halloween when they get older.

Hopefully this is a joke. I didn't hand out candy in my area either, however no children came by. If they had, and they didn't like it next year I'll leave my dogs out by the front door.

I had a kid bang on my door for 5 minutes. No lights on. I wasn't expecting to be home so I had nothing.

I had some fuckhead 15 year old pound on my door last year at 10pm looking for candy.

He left... without it.

The funny part about all this is that for one day every kid is allowed to actually expect people to greet them on one day of the year and give them one little bar of candy that you can but in packs of 50 for 10 bucks. But apparently people's schedules are too busy and they are too cheap to give a damned, kids have long memories, especially about the assholes they knew were home but refused to answer, hell, even leaving a note on a door saying "sorry, no candy" is an improvement.
