Almost a touch of evil? Almost? No wonder our court system is nuts when judges talk like this.

And three years - just goes to show, as long as you don't kill a person, you can beat the living crap out of them and get very little time. But rob a bank, don't actually hurt anybody, and you get a serious sentence. Our priorities are all screwed up.

Well apparently the judge was harsher then the joint sentence recommendation.
