I'd like the reference for where is was said they tried to hide him? Last I read they told him to quit or be fired, just before he went nutso.
I do hope he became unglued after he was hired. Because is he passed two interviews, a polygraph, background investigation and a Psych eval to get hired and he's been a nut job his whole life then thats a big fail on the RCMP recruitment process. Far beyond simply saying "some people fall through the cracks." This is more than missing that your applicant is the type of person to have a drinking or honesty problem.
