And of course, Drama Queen Murphy Brownshirt lamented the end of Canadian Democracy for Trudeau doing his job and ensuring the continuity of the government for the next 3 years.

If you are old enough you will remember that is how Tommy Douglas started the health care system we have today. Without the deal with the Liberals then we might have a US style health care now.

When the NDP have the hammer to let the Liberals remain in power or send us back to the polls more social programs are enacted. How much of the current social agenda is enacted or left on the order paper by the next election is up to the Liberals. The NDP can show their supporters they can make a difference and perhaps gain a few seats.

I don't understand the objection. Isn't this literally the point of a minority government? To work with an opposition party to get stuff done from both their agendas?

Yup. That is exactly their job. But it means the CPC and Bloc can't team up to defeat the Liberals on a confidence motion and try to get their new leader elected PM.

Assuming Charet wins, he'll be 66 when the next election is due. Assuming Pollivere wins, that means he'll have 3 years of foot in mouth incidents before the election.

Right. And it makes sense to do it with the NDP than the Cons since NDP is closer aligned in their beliefs.

The interim leader of conservatives just said this is to prop up Putin and Russia. When did they become so retarded?

The Greens are closer to the CPC in most things, except for that little climate thingie. The bloc are too, but the CPC can never be seen to approve of their views on Quebec.

So it could have only been the Liberals and NDP.

When Peter McKay told David Orchard he would never merge the PCs with the Alliance party, if Orchard supported him for leader. Then the CPC was born.

The Conservatives have never been true fans of Democracies. Remember when Harper perogued Parliament, rather than allow a Coalition NDP-Liberal government to take over? Pepperidge Farms Remembers.

Bet Kenney's head is all a-exploding over this one, especially going into the leadership review vote. "They're supposed to just sit there as easy targets for my ire!" exclaims an agitated Bumbles, already fairly panic-stricken given that there's a huge chance he loses his job in a couple of weeks.

Someone better warn Brian Jean if he's dumb enough to think this will be an easy fight. When Bumbles takes his pants off then watch the fuck out! 8O

The talking point of the right are just keeping their own ranks in line. No one will be won over by the vapidness of their position. They are bereft of ANY valid policy positions because they have had decades of not requiring any by their base.
