Nothing bothers the extremist males of the left wing, who are identical to the ones on the right when it comes to sharing the exact same overwhelming arrogance, when you point out to them how badly and shamefully they didn't do even the smallest goddamn thing to protect the rights of actual real women. Guess that cause just wasn't cool enough...

See Tricks, that's ^^ what I'm talking about. No actual examples, just rhetoric and memes that he's been fed.

Completely ignoring all of the 'left wing' and 'right wing' males here in this thread advocating for a womans' right to dominion over her own body, and right to healthcare. Instead, ignoring reality to post memes about something that doesn't happen because it might be bad, so that trans people can be denied the same right over dominion of their own bodies, and be denied the right to their own healthcare. He probably doesn't even see the contradiction about advocating for one while denying the other.

Has there been a case of a trans woman who still had a penis, who was put in womens' prison? Probably. Did that trans woman commit rape? No documented cases. But the possibility is enough that an entire class of medically different people can be scapegoated in effigy of that possibility. And if 'real men' don't agree, then they are part of the problem. Hmmm. Who else does that sound like? Every case of toxic masculinity ever. Also, Jews, circa 1925.

I still think he actually believes it too. And so would I, if I didn't understand that actual cause and effect that gender dysphagia can have. At least, as much as a layman can know.

Scape Scape:

I don't watch all the videos you post of Beau (there have been many!) but the ones I do watch are quite good. I like the way he delivers his message in simple terms without the drama some of the youtubers seem to think is necessary.

Whether you are pro-abortion or not, this was the right decision legally. You may not like it, but you were lied to by the Roe & Casey justices who told you abortion was a constitutional right. This Court set things straight & now it’s where it belongs: in the hands of the ppl. -M Kelley

Lied where the people that struck it down Meg, this was something that was passed and then ratified by subsequent rulings by the court over DECADES. That norm has now been throw away and for what? Cheap political talking points? The depravity of this statement is astounding. Thousands are now going to die from this.

I've put Beau on my regular rotation. He doesn't speak on subjects that affect me often, but I do like the perspective, and the neutrality. Also notice sometimes when he moves left, he will reveal a vest on the right of the screen. It says "PRESS" in English and Cyrillic. So I think he knows more than he lets on. ;)

And I'm still waiting on some of the right wing to show us where in the Constitution that the Supreme Court has a duty or obligation to review any decision made by previous Supreme Courts. Not the right wingers here, specifically. Just in general.

Because giving themselves that power make them the 'legislators from the bench' that political stripe seems to have railed against when they didn't like the courts' decisions. And it also means tyranny of the teeny tiny minority. Five people get to choose the direction the USA goes. Where is Tuckers outrage?

Wait for it to decide that the "All men are created equal" doesn't specifically say "men and women".

Since Nixon it was taboo for judges to legislate from the bench AND unless it was in black and white on the constitution written by slave owners and only if it was an appeal from a lower court could the supreme court rule. This was seen as a way to keep in check rights getting assigned to anyone and anything not white, male, god fearing land owners.

This is the mandate as the cons see it and they want that will inflicted upon everyone. Bully pulpit is the term used to describe the power of the presidency but this is how the conservative minority in the states have wielded their power. This in conjunction with an incompetent opposition (dems) has the effect of ratcheting laws and norms to the right slowly and constantly. Every misstep is used to regress this process further and this is why it creeps up because they are not presenting new laws and legislation but constrict and remove existing laws and kneecap anything new on the books if they can't outright veto it.

The legitimacy of the court has been brought into question.

The problem with unwritten rules is that they're only as good as the people who abide by them. The GOP has shown since the 80's that they are completely without honour and will break every rule or norm, written down or otherwise to get their way. And Trump took that dishonourable behaviour to the nth degree.

And America will suffer the consequences.

The problem is they are working from a 250 year old document that was 'perfect' when it was written. It was written with very little about how the Supreme Court works, and the theory is those blanks would be filled in. Well, they haven't.

What they need to do is a constitutional re-write to take into account all the things that time has changed.
