Not only did they lie to get the job but the job is for life! Good god there was actually someone saying that the government might want access to woman’s app that track their period. A sad day for the USA. I'm quite angry and sad and fearful for what else is to come.

I heard a bit on CNN earlier, and I don't recall who said it, but they suggested this issue should be put forth on a ballot when the elections are held in November. Let the American voters decide if this should have been overturned, at the very least hear the feedback. These people who made this decision are not elected by the people, they are placed there so the nation has no say in retaining them even when they make stupid decisions, unlike elected officials who get their ass handed to them the next time around.

And WTAF is with the chatter about banning contraceptives? Sure... ban something that can be helpful in preventing that other thing from even freaking happening that you are no longer able to make a decision on. Are they just going to ban The Pill? IUD's? Condoms?

What about vasectomies? Hmmmm... oh, I bet they don't go there...

They will absolutely try. Maybe not condoms but the other kinds that women will. Justice Thomas said as much in his concurring opinion. Roe was originally decided on a basis of a persons right to privacy. A right that was properly established in case called Griswold v Connecticut. That case overturned a ban on contraceptives.

So if the right privacy doesn’t count anymore then all the cases that overturned bans on contraception, SSM and even same sex relationships are now all fair game. It’s very like that within a few years that in over half of the US, it will be illegal to get an abortion, use contraception, or be LGBT. These are religious fundamentalists they will not rest until they control everyone.

The GOP May as well rename itself Hezbollah at this point. There’s no difference anymore.

In all the years he's been here, I have never known him to be bigoted or racist. I can only assume that he's fallen into a MAGA like trap, and judging from the research I did on the 'stories' he posted that led to 'Libs of TikTok', he has been. He went down that rabbit hole and met the suicide King.

A person cannot be convinced of anything if they think they are in an adversarial position, so the only way that has a chance of showing them the error of their position is to remain neutral. Calling them out and berating them only makes them more adversarial. Guiding them in the direction they have lost is the only method to undo the cult following they have adopted. And it's also the way deprogrammers get people out of cults.

I don't think he intends to be bigoted, I think he actually believes the bullshit and that he is protecting women and children. The questions we have to get him to ask are 'what if it's all wrong?', 'what if someone has been shining him on?', 'what if it's a con?'. If he asks those, and seeks out the actual truth, not the truth some cult has been feeding him, he will see reality again.
