$1:
The couple’s massive two-storey, seven-car garage looks and feels like a diner straight off Route 66. The focal point is Angelika’s prized 1970 Mustang, cloned to look like a limited-edition Twister Special, which the rest of the space is designed around.

Two refurbished old gas pumps sit toward the rear of the garage, near a working set of flashing traffic lights. A parking metre requests a nickel for 15 minutes of time; a dime for half an hour. The trim around the garage windows matches the amber-orange of the Mustang.

That must be amazing.

I'd rather spend the money to make the car go fast instead of making the garage pretty.

Go fast for cheap!

Years ago I was out in the boonies with Dad's old '62 Ford truck. Slid into the ditch at such an angle that the gas lines couldn't suck in any fuel. There was a 5 gal of gas in the back. Dumped that in, fired her up, went like a bat outta hell. For a while. Then gradually, it slowed down, then some more, then some more yet, the ol truck finally 'fated and died'. [huh] Turns out that the 5 gallons was NAPTHA! 8O Got Dad $50.00 for the truck!

Yeah that's my office.........that also happens to have a 54" TV. Still getting things moved around and out of the boxes since the move. It's 12'x24' so there's lots of room to work with. The next step is to get or build book shelves along the walls so I can get my library out of the boxes.
