Thanos Thanos:
More like the media is so lazy they can't pay attention to more than one issue at a time. No conspiracy or false flags, just they won't do any hard work any more if it doesn't generate enough clicks & ratings for them. It's like running a newspaper or news channel according to same rules a magazine for 14 year old girls operates by - "what's hot today? Rittenhouse! what's not hot? career criminal mowing down dozens of people with his car".
One of the more liberal sites I go to couldn't be bothered to mention Waukesha at all today. Instead they had a story about some anti-Jake Gyllenhall campaign being conducted by some high school girls because the kids are mad at him for dirting Taylor Swift ten years ago when they were dating. That source I used to go to had been deleted from my bookmarks as of today, as have at least three other ones that are deliberately avoiding Waukesha because it doesn't suit their narrative or ratings needs.
Fuck all the media, period. Every single one of them, no matter what side they're on, is a filthy disgusting rat bastard ideologue. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.

Right? Television news used to be different. At the end of 10 minutes you'd get the big story. At the end of 30 minutes you'd know the headlines, and if you watched the full hour you'd get some local news and a "human interest" piece, maybe an in-depth interview with someone.
But now it's just one story for weeks on end. So much it turns cannibalistic as news reporters from one outlet interview reporters from another, or CNN does a whack-job on Fox. We don't need 15 stations with 24/7 news.
There's still heroes out there. Journalists regularly disappear in Mexico for speaking out. Saudi Arabia had one straight up murdered and bone-sawed in their embassy. I think I've only seen one journalist--one--interview those poor migrants stuck between Belarus and Poland.
But CNN, Fox, MSNBC--all completely corrosive to civilized society. I have a soft-spot for the CBC and their clumsy attempts to maintain the status quo and inculcate their idea of what it means to be Canadian (e.g. never mention transfer payments to Quebec), but recognize they are as biased in their own way as the rest.
We live in a post-objective world. The authorities of old--the priests, the kings, the politicians, the staid old newspapers, the scientists--all lying in the sand like the broken statue of Ozymandias, replaced by a million bloviating idiots howling their Jabberwocky to the voids of cyberspace.
