This is kind of funny. During the election the American press was all pumped up with self-importance about whether or not Obama would deem the Iranians worthy of being spoken to, now we discover what should have been obvious. Iran had no interest in talking to America no matter what they decided.
It's like Obama arrives at Iran's doorstep, arms open like Jesus. "Here I am". Then Iran answers, "And you are?"
