I am in full agreement with the article in regard to Iggy. Trudeau did speak his mind, HOWEVER, it was his past affiliations with seperatists,dating back to the forties (Rene Levesque), as well as his lax policies on the military (re-unification), and his plans of dismantling anything remotely British, that gave the FLQ the mindset to mobilize in 1970. Thus creating the crisis in the first place. Unfortunately we stood by and let him "Just watch me" do these other things. I voted for him in his first campaign, a move I regret to this day. I have never voted liberal again. I guess that makes me a conservative "hack". I can live with that.
