When I've had cats come through our yard trying to get to my koi or my chickens I try to trap them and take them to the pound. If I can't trap them then in accordance with state law I exercise my right to zap the little vermin and toss them in the garbage can.

I have no idea why people think it's okay for their cats to go into other people's yards and chase their animals and crap in their flower beds.

I feel sorry for the cats because their owners clearly don't give a rip about them.

Our dog keeps cats out of our yard. And (unforutantely for her occassionally) skunks.
