I started reading that thinking it was just going to be another journalist who'd discovered some personal courage and common sense.

But no it's more than that. It's Israeli wonderkind, astrophysicist Nir Shaviv who's been writing peer reviewed papers that contradict the climate cult's prophecies of Warmageddon for years. Or as they would call Doctor Shaviv - "a denier."

Worth a read by anybody with an open mind, in any case.

Basically it's a Chinese-American version of the Cubans in southern Florida who have used their electoral clout to keep the US and Cuba at each other's throats for fifty-five years, except with these Epoch Times clowns doing it to keep US-China hostilities brewing. In review, The Epoch Times covers straight news reporting through the use of journalists and syndication through the Associated Press and Reuters. Typically, these stories are well sourced and reasonably low biased. However, when reporting on China they do reflect a strong anti-communism bias. The Epoch Times also uses loaded language that usually favors the right such as this: Why Media Organizations Can’t Let Go of the Fake Russia-Collusion Narrative.

Editorially, there is a very strong Pro-Trump bias, with almost all articles praising Trump and denigrating the left such as these Democratic Party: A Broken Kaleidoscope? and Five Reasons Trump’s Celebration of America Was Epic Display of Patriotism. According to an NBC News report the “outlet has spent more than $1.5 million on about 11,000 pro-Trump advertisements in the last six months, according to data from Facebook’s advertising archive — more than any organization outside of the Trump campaign itself, and more than most Democratic presidential candidates have spent on their own campaigns.” In general, straight news reporting is sourced and mostly low biased, however op-eds 100% favor the right with some promoting conspiracy theories.

A factual search shows that they have not failed any fact checks. However, the Epoch Times has a section called Beyond Science that publishes pseudoscience news, such as Supernormal Abilities Developed Through Meditation: Dr. Dean Radin Discusses. Further, the above referenced NBC News report states “In addition to claims that alien abductions are real and the drug epidemic was engineered by the “deep state,” the channel pushes the QAnon conspiracy theory, which falsely posits that the same “Spygate” cabal is a front for a global pedophile ring being taken down by Trump.”

Overall, we rate The Epoch Times Right Biased based on editorial positions that consistently favor the right. We also rate them factually Mixed due to the publication of pseudoscience as well as propaganda against China and strong support for the Trump administration.

Pseudoscience and conspiracy theories? What more could a loyal Trumper want?

The problem with that, is laws are being made, taxes are being collected and power is being centralized on this 'whatever bullshit you want' idea. So no, I don't have to just 'deal' with it I have to actively fight this nonsense.

People want laws made because of religious belief all the time. The difference is one is a fairy tale and one has tens of thousands of supporting documents to back it up.

It has been said that science is the new religion. That said, I rather live in a nation where laws are based on this religion (so long as they are fair and intelligently implemented) rather that the laws based on the predication that there is an invisible man in the sky constantly judging you.

Whoever tells you that, they can be safely ignored. Religion requires 'faith' in absence of proof. Science requires proof, and a suppression of faith. It cannot be a religion.
