Wasn't it the previous Liberal party governments that sank millions of taxpayers dollars into that company, with no agreement to safeguard our money?

The Foreign Investment Review Agency was a federal agency formed by Parliament in 1973 as a result of concerns about foreign presence in the Canadian economy. The agency began screening foreign acquisitions of Canadian businesses in April 1974 and the establishment of new foreign businesses in October 1975.
