Has anyone ever seen the movie The Grapes of Wrath.

This news article reminds me of The Grapes of Wrath. People are arriving in Alberta to find low wages and a high cost of living.

Some people are so disenfranchised with Alberta, they are leaving!! Sure lots of work, $8 to $11 hr. lol

There are no apartments, so places out side Ballzac are setting up makeshift trailer parks to house the people. (shanty towns)

It is called "growing pains". Within 2 generations California is the largest most powerful State in the USA. Within two generations Alberta's population will exceed Quebecs and at current growth rates more people will be living in Western Canada then in the East.
