GM needs more cuts - Saturn, you're next

Absolutely. I am amazed that they have even lasted this long. I can't remember the last time I even saw a saturn on the road, yet somehow they manage to stay afloat.

I drive one, and contrary to Mustangs usual anti-Big3 rants, it was $12,000 cheaper than a comparable Toyota or Nissan.
Granted, the interior upholstery is a little plainer but that aint worth $12K.
Plus I slammed it into a snowbank and wiggled the panels to pop them back into shape. Beat the hell out of the $4200 bill that wiped out my old Mitshubishi (Dodge) 4x4 from doing the same thing but slower...

Saturn is a good vehicle... There's nothing bad about them...

Saturn is a "good" vehicle?!?!? Not according to anyone that has a clue about cars. Their overall reliability is junk, their resale value is garbage and they're about to become a well-deserved victim of GM restructuring.

It's always good to hear what the gas jockeys at Canadian Tire think, though.

I do not get my cars repaired at Canadian Tire. Never have and never will... I do the bulk of my repairs myself... I wish you would stop putting words in my mouth.... This forum would be a much better place if your childish behaviour would stop...

So please desist with inferring I take my cars to Crappy Tire for repairs, parts or advice... For I do not....

Immaterial fluff? Check. Crying? Check. Personal insults? Check. Hypocrisy? Check.

I guess Canadian Tire was closed you couldn't actually substantiate your Saturn claims. Maybe today you could pepper the dude at the garden centre for more car info because evidently you know squat.

I'd go for the goat entrails. About as reliable as going on expired data to judge something sitting in a car lot today.
Better than a brand name loyalty blinding you to the fact anyone can turn out a total P.O.S.

The problem with Motor Trend, Car & Driver and Road & Track reviews is they usually favor the manufacturer who does the most advertising within their magazine.... So I'm with Herbie on this one... I would sooner base my decision on my own personal experience and the advice of people in the industry that I personally know...
