I'll speak up on this and then back to just being silent. TO MUCH hate on both sides in to many posts in CKA (reason for my silence).
I've done some quick searching and not finding anything on a protester dying over the weekend, in Austin. So can't confirm or deny but at this time it's looking like he did not die. From the lady on the phone calling for an ambulance and the video they seem to be one block North of APD head quarters. 8th street maybe 9th street. APD is on 7th street. First I am assuming those are NOT medics taking the man to APD, nearest Hospital in NORTH of their location not south. Probably concerned citizens trying to take him to closest place they could think of for medical care/assistance. I don't think the "Medics" were being shot at but more approaching an area where shots began to be fired. Notice the man with the camera ducks but then keeps walking forward before turns the corner and gets closer to APD main entrance. From there and the Highway bridge is where shoots were fired from. (To the best of my knowledge and second hand info I got.) YES this is Austin in the video, remember I do live here. LOTS of graffiti, some looting but not to any extreme that has been seen in other cities. Very peaceful protesting during the day but at night it turned. I am more willing to blame fringe groups both left and right than actual citizens protesting against Police killing of the people they are supposed to be protecting.
