raydan raydan: This day in 1929...
The Palestine riots break out in Mandatory Palestine between Palestinian Arabs and Jews and continue until the end of the month. In total, 133 Jews and 116 Arabs are killed. I think a member noted you were up on this topic. I may be wrong as my memory is not the best? Did Israel negotiate fairly with the goal of a peace deal. I am referring to the US- Israel- Abbas recent talks?

True, unrelated as are a number of posts. Threads go thataways at times. Possibly I was wrong. Not the best memory. And the gall of not sharing, I would have sprung for pizza, double pepperoni and cheese.

Why would that be "self hating"? It sounds like a group of honest people, to me.

Because criticizing Israel is anti-semitic. So if you're a jew criticizing Israel, you must hate jews, ie yourself.

Yeah, but sometimesbeing anti-Israel is identical to being a Jew-hater, not to mention also being as intelligent as a sock filled with gravel. $1: A Sainsbury's branch removed kosher food from its shelves over fears that anti-Israeli protesters would attack it.
The branch manager of the store in Holborn, central London ordered the section to be emptied on Saturday afternoon, while protesters outside picketed it calling for a boycott of Israeli goods. The move prompted outrage after a photo of the empty shelves was posted on social media.
Colin Appleby, who took the photo, said the kosher section contained food made in the UK and Poland. He added that a staff member defended the decision, saying: "We support Free Gaza."
"I didn't try to point out that kosher goods were not Israeli goods but they walked away," he wrote on Facebook.
...........
A complaint to Sainsbury's by Facebook user Gavin Platman said the move blurred the line between a political statement and a hate crime. He wrote: "I presume you are aware that Kosher food is produced in countries other than Israel? You are therefore not making a political statement against Israel but instead are targeting a group based on race – i.e. Jews.
"As a Jew I find this deeply offensive. Naturally I am against the death of innocent children in Gaza, so why are you persecuting me by denying me the right to buy Kosher food?
"I presume you are also removing Halal food in protest against the Islamic State slaughtering Yazidis. Clearly not – therefore you have blurred the line between political statement and hate crime." Ah, good ol' traditional judenhass. About 1700 years old but not looking a day over forty. Alive, well, and happily thriving in so many places across the world, and so staunchly excused and defended by merry dumbfuck liberals as well.

Absolutely no way, there would be rioting in the streets. Jew hating in the UK is moving along well. Oh and why did DD reopen this thread ? Not like he can bring himself to say it..... Yesterday, Hamas broke the ceasefire; it's back on.. boom, boom.

Hamas official takes credit for kidnap and murder of Israeli teens
A senior Hamas official admitted for the first time on Wednesday that the organization's armed wing, the Kassam Brigades, was behind the kidnapping and murder of Israeli teens Nafatli Fraenkel, Gil-Ad Shaer and Eyal Yifrah in the West Bank in June.
The Hamas official, Salah al-Aruri made the comments during a conference of Islamic clerics in Turkey. He praised the "heroic action of the Kassam Brigades who kidnapped three settlers in Hebron."http://www.jpost.com/Arab-Israeli-Confl ... ens-371703

$1: Gaza: Hamas says 18 suspected informants executed
Hamas sources in Gaza say 18 people suspected of collaborating with Israel have been executed.
The killings came after an Israeli airstrike left three senior Hamas leaders dead on Thursday.
Officials in Gaza say at least two more Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes overnight, and Israel said more rockets were fired from Gaza.
More than 2,070 Palestinians, mostly civilians, and 66 Israelis, mostly troops, have been killed in six weeks.
A Thai national in Israel was also killed by rocket fire early on in the conflict. No-one was injured by the rockets which hit Israel on Friday morning.
Hostilities between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza resumed on Tuesday, scuppering efforts in Cairo to achieve a long-term ceasefire deal.
Hamas has insisted on a lifting of the economic blockade of Gaza as part of any longer-term deal.
Israel has vowed to pursue its campaign until "full security" is achieved through the disarmament of Hamas and other groups in Gaza.

Zipperfish Zipperfish: BartSimpson BartSimpson: Hamas is deserving of everything that comes next. Even if they win $50M on Lotto Max? Maybe it will be a split win! One ticket goes to Hamas, one ticket to IDF...a crate full of cash is in 'no man's land' in between....pay-per-view access in select areas.
