I know these words may come back to haunt me, but Afghani tribes only kill foreigners that come to their lands...they don't go looking to start fights with other nations. They are content to stay in their own lands and kill each other. Why do? we need to wipe them out? wqe used to admire them for killing Soviets the same way.
Sorry Shep but that statment is only partially true. They may not directly go looking to start fights militarily with foreign nations but, they're certainly willing to give succor to those that do. If they'd given up Bin Laden when the US asked we wouldn't be sitting here discussing this so, by their tacit agreement to protect and shelter those that commit terror they were in fact by proxy attacking numerous foreign nations.

Ah ! So bart proposes a mass state sponsored genocide for the Afghans. Subsitute Afghan with Muslim and Bart would be an extremely happy camper, eh ?

Well, we tried in Afghanistan. The public in various nations that are actually doing the fighting (US/Canada/UK/Australia) have finally sussed out that the wankers running Afghanistan are nearly as bad as the wankers (Taliban) the Yanks kicked out in 2001-2002.
It was a noble effort but really, the Afghan people can't be arsed to save themselves. They are quite happy beating their wives and using the Koran to justify staying in the Stone Age.
Time for us to all fuck-off and leave them to it. If they start becoming an exterior threat again use air-power.

Yeah, I dunno, I'm pretty certain I haven't said anything like "Let's just kill them all. That's the only solution and that's what needs to be done to end all our issues! Problem solved. We will never have success if we go down another course of action so this is what we must do to win this thing and screw all the innocent lives lost." Damn certain I've said the exact opposite several times. I appreciate all of your righteous indignation, but frankly, you should maybe focus on some of the extremism in your own posts before manking off about the extremism in others. It removes the shades of hypocrisy that might be shadowing your rant here.

I'm vanilla red. What more to you want, other than a full conversion to being a pro-capitalist liberal/conservative?  Okay then...
